Escape

The heat

The traffic

The pollution

The din

The waiting

The distances

The uncouthness

The dirt

Escape. Please escape.

Perhaps "face", would be a more adequate response.

Just letting you know I'm still watching and liking your work.

By escape I meant from a place & not from a situation. But then "face" is what is required & is all that can be done for the time being.

Thanks.

Escape is not nessecary, if one is able to face the situation adequately.

Escape is not necessary, but a need at times.

But only in situations which cannot be dealt with adequately due to means of active confrontation.

I believe that the scenario you sketched in your entry is a situation which can be altered by the mentioned kind of confrontation.

Pollute your world, and it dies. Don't...and it'll live longer. There is, practically, no escape, except for death.

I don't see how the scenario I have mentioned can be dealt with confrontation. Confront whom? Confront what? The air? The traffic? The weather?

There are places in this world I believe, where the air is pure; the silence is golden, where waiting is a pleasure. Escape and find them.

No, look at the cause of the problems. The air is not responsible for its pollution, mankind is. So, confront mankind. Same goes for traffic, noise, etc.

As for a peaceful place... meet some basic conditions in your environment and you will find, that the only peaceful place is within your mind.

Well said. I cannot possibly argue on the fact that it is all in the mind. Mind is everything.

As for confronting mankind. Well, humans are complicated beings, confronting one is a task, for me. Don't mean to be a pessimist but escape seems better in this case even if it is to a place created in the mind.
