Alive

I rather feel pain, than feel nothing.

With pain I know I am living. I am human.

Thanks for keeping me alive...

No regrets.

Others

For some, art is an imitation of life.

For others, life is an inspiration from art.

I am one of the others.

Shameful

Art was “subjective”. Now, it is “objective”.

A known name will fetch an undeserved price irrespective of the work.

People are willing to mortgage their houses or put their savings to risk, by buying a work of “art” of a known artist as an investment, without any fucking knowledge of art.

People bargain even if they are aware that the price asked is worth it, mostly with the lesser-known artist. That is exploitation

The same people after paying the bargained price for the work will sell it for double the amount to someone else. They call themselves art dealers, but according to me they are art pimps.

Buy one get one free. Yes, this happens in art too.

Art is now a business, a product. Congratulations.
